To get to
Kremmling from Denver take I-70 west. There are two ways
to get to Kremmling from I-70. Depending on road and
weather conditions travel time is about the same, 2
hours from the Denver International Airport. Both routes
offer great views of beautiful Colorado scenery.
Most Scenic
Option:
Take Highway
40 north to Empire. The exit is just past Idaho Springs
but before the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70. Highway 40
will take you up to Berthoud Pass, through Winter Park,
Frasier, Tabernash, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs,
Parshall and through Kremmling. Highway 40 continues on
to Steamboat Springs and beyond.
Fastest
Option:
Stay west on
I-70 through the Eisenhower Tunnel then take Highway 9
north out of Silverthrone. You'll pass Green Mountain
Reservoir on the way to Kremmling. Highway 9 ends in
Kremmling at the intersection of Highway 40, and at the
the CliffSide Inn's front door.
From the West:
Take I-70 east to Wolcott and travel North on 131 to
State Bridge. Go Right onto the Scenic Byway and the
road will end at Highway 9, go left. Kremmling is just 1
mile ahead... |
